Updates to the initial West Cape Classic event program has tightened the circuit to make it more accessible and affordable to classic car lovers who want to test their vehicles amidst some of the State’s most stunning environments.
The inaugural West Cape Classic will now commence in Busselton at 4pm on Friday 27 April, where drivers will get the chance to compete in Foreshore stage of the Forest Rally before enjoying dinner in the VIP area.
Over the following two days, drivers will face a diverse range of new courses, closed road circuits and incredible terrains all staged throughout the Busselton, Yallingup and Dunsborough environment – including the never before run hill climb on Saturday 28th April.
On Sunday 29 April, participants head to Bunbury to run the ECU Engineering Sprint before travelling back to Perth for a large motorkhana stage and awards dinner at the Claremont Showgrounds.

A simplified driver entry fee has also been introduced at just $2200, which includes Driver, Co-Driver or Partners plus all merchandise, meals and functions – and not just any functions. We’re talking lunch at Clairault Streicker Estate, dinner at the Ramada Resort in Dunsborough and the finale presentation dinner at the Claremont Showgrounds.
The West Cape Classic – Tarmac Challenge is open to all models of modern and classic sporting cars of all types and ages and is the first tarmac rally of its kind to be hosted in Western Australia for almost a decade!
